At Martins Wood, e-safety is taught as part of the computing curriculum so that children are given the tools to stay safe when navigating material online. Here are some links that may be useful for parents/carers, to continue these conversations at home.

Internet Matters - www.internetmatters.org Internet Matters is aimed at adults to help support children who are having issues online. There are sections aimed at different age groups as well as specific advice on areas such as Social Media or cyberbullying 

Think U Know? - www.thinkuknow.co.uk From CEOP (the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Agency) which is part of the UK’s National Crime Agency. You and your child can find useful information and advice here, and also report abuse or anything that you have encountered online that concerns you

Kidsmart - www.kidsmart.org.uk Kidsmart is aimed at ages 3-11 to help them learn about ways to keep yourself safe online. It is a Childnet website and has information for young people and adults

Safer Internet - www.saferinternet.org.uk The UK Safer Internet Centre, here you can find online safety tips, advice and resources to help children and young people stay safe online

Kidscape - www.kidscape.org.uk Kidscape offers advice for young people and adults on how to deal with bullying of all types, including cyberbullying
